Title: Electronics Engineering Technician

Location: Memphis, TN - 100% Onsite

Duration and Hire Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $28/hr

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, etc.

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday

40 hours per week with occasional OT

Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Debug Technician to perform advanced board-level troubleshooting and component-level diagnostics on server and data center hardware.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose complex issues in multilayer PCBs, high-speed digital, power, and mixed-signal circuits
  • Use advanced tools: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and diagnostic software
  • Perform BGA rework and precision component repair
  • Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective actions
  • Read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, BIOS logs, and POST codes
  • Track failure trends and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with engineering teams

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3–5+ years of experience with PCB board-level troubleshooting and component-level diagnostics
  • Strong ability to diagnose and repair multilayer circuit boards in complex electronic systems
  • Experience working with surface-mount components (SMT), BGA rework, and fine-pitch soldering
  • Proficient in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation
  • Experience identifying faults in power circuits, signal paths, and board-level components
