MS Technology, Inc. is seeking anย Sr. Electronics Engineerย to support our clients in Oak Ridge, TN.

Responsibilities:

  • Designย and deployย next-generation control and drive electronics.
  • Create detailed design packages and testing electronics to troubleshooting complex systems that directly impact nuclear energy technology.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lead projects, mentor engineers, and interact with clients.
  • Applyย analytical methods, simulations, and industry standards to design safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions that keep our operations moving forward.


Minimum Requirements:ย 

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering plus 6+ years of experience (or equivalent) in industrial electronics, preferably with a focus on power electronics and electric machinery (PEEM) design
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, embedded systems design, and R&D
  • Strong technical knowledge spanning low-voltage DC through three-phase systems
  • Proficiency with engineering tools like PSPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, and/or CAD
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and computational skills
  • The ability to obtain (or already hold) a โ€œQโ€ security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active โ€œQโ€ or Top Secret security clearance
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or 12+ yearsโ€™ experience in industrial electronics design
  • Experience in the nuclear industry or other highly regulated environments
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (UL, IEEE, NEC, ANSI, OSHA, NUREGS)
  • Background in electric motor design/manufacturing or embedded software development
  • A passion for solving complex engineering challenges with innovative, real-world solutions
