Location: Middleburg Heights, Ohio (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)

Purpose:

Quadax, a leader in healthcare revenue cycle management, is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join the company’s Revenue Cycle Services (RCS) division. This position is on the Business Intelligence team and plays a key role in transforming complex healthcare revenue cycle data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders and clients.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, data models, and analytical tools that support operational performance, client success, and strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, developing data-driven solutions, validating data accuracy, and delivering meaningful financial and operational analytics through modern business intelligence platforms. This position will collaborate with RCS leadership, Client Engagement, operational teams, technical teams, and directly with clients to provide accurate, timely, and impactful information that drives informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of Quadax healthcare revenue cycle data, data warehouses, Snowflake environments, and supporting data models. Partner with internal departments and technical teams to identify data needs, improve data accessibility, resolve data issues, and maintain data integrity.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analytical solutions using Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
  • Create intuitive dashboards with drill-through and self-service capabilities, including AI-assisted tools, that effectively communicate key performance indicators, operational metrics, and business trends.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, datasets, and report logic.
  • Follow the dashboard development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Validate reporting outputs and investigate data discrepancies and reporting issues to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and user satisfaction.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions and recommend reporting strategies that provide actionable insights.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for reporting, analytics, dashboard design, data visualization, and business intelligence best practices.
  • Support client-facing reporting initiatives by collaborating with subject matter experts and participating in internal and client meetings to discuss reporting solutions, business performance, and analytical findings.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting processes and improve efficiency through improved data processes, business intelligence solutions, and emerging technologies.
  • Analyze operational and client data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers. Present findings and recommendations to business leaders, operational teams, and clients.
  • Contribute to Business Intelligence team initiatives involving industry benchmarking, reimbursement analysis, trend analysis, peer comparisons, and revenue cycle performance metrics.
  • Manage analytics and reporting projects to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.

Education/Experience:

  • Four-year degree bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to analyze, transform, and validate complex datasets;
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills;
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable reporting and analytical solutions;
  • Experience validating data and resolving discrepancies;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including internal stakeholders and clients, and document business logic, assumptions, and reporting calculations;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment;
  • Commitment to continuous learning and the ability to leverage emerging technologies, automation, and AI-assisted tools;
  • Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, medical billing, reimbursement, or healthcare analytics is preferred;
  • Experience working with enterprise data warehouses, Snowflake, or large-scale reporting environments is preferred.
