Tax Co-Op/Intern- Summer 2027

The Tax Co-Op/Internwill be partnered with team members in varying roles in the tax department to help foster your success, provide you opportunities to grow in various areas of tax and transformation, and provide you with on-going feedback on your job performance. Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically, 36-40 hoursa week.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in preparation of federal, state, and international income tax returns and supporting workpapers

  • Assist with quarterly tax provision calculations (ASC 740), including book-to-tax differences

  • Prepare and analyze tax data to support compliance and financial reporting

  • Support responses to tax notices and audit information requests

  • Utilize digital tools to improve data accuracy, consistency, and reporting efficiency

  • Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), tradespersons, and contractors.

  • Adhering to Mosaic's mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies.

What you'll need:

  • Junior level or above by May 2027 pursuing a bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or IT

  • 2.75 GPA or higher

  • Foundational knowledge of taxation and accounting principles

  • Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, and reporting tools preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, orworkis preferred.

  • Previousinternship or co-op experience is preferred.

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.

  • Ability to work full timeand be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship

  • Selected candidates willbe requiredto successfully completepost-offer/pre-placementdrug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.

  • Basic computer skills are required

  • Experience working in a team environment is a must

  • Effective verbal communication skills is a plus
