Summary of the Senior Data Engineer Role: We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong SQL skills and hands-on experience working with enterprise data warehouse environments. This role will play a key part in building and maintaining scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.   • Ensure consistency, reliability, and scalability of data across reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Work closely with developers to structure data for efficient Power BI usage, including semantic modeling and partitioning.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver clean, actionable datasets.
  • Provide guidance on SQL optimization, data governance, and reporting standards.
Preferred Experience of the Senior Data Engineer:
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with enterprise data warehouse architecture and implementation.
  • Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, OneLake, Databricks, Data Warehouse, and Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling techniques (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema, normalization).
