Salary: $72,000-$94,000
Build the Power BI dashboards that help run our business
If you know how to turn raw data into clear, useful Power BI dashboards, this is a chance to make a visible impact. Abel Womack is hiring a hands-on Data Analyst to improve reporting, automate recurring data processes, and help leaders across sales, service, operations, finance, and warehouse teams make faster, smarter decisions.
About Abel Womack
Abel Womack has been helping companies improve warehouse and material handling operations for more than 100 years. We design, implement, and service complete material handling solutions for customers across the Northeast and beyond. As e-commerce and operational complexity continue to grow, our analytics capabilities are becoming even more important to how we serve customers and run the business.
What You'll Do

  • Translate business questions into meaningful KPIs, metrics, reports, and visualizations.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Improve data accuracy, consistency, and usability across reporting platforms and business systems.
  • Automate repetitive reporting and data management tasks using tools such as Python, PowerShell, and related workflows.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify reporting needs, uncover trends, and support process improvements.
  • Document key processes, workflows, and reporting solutions so they are repeatable and easy to support.

What We're Looking For
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Microsoft Power BI.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or database-related work preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Ability to connect technical work to business needs and explain data clearly to non-technical users.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Comfort learning new tools, improving processes, and working independently on practical business problems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, logistics, warehouse, distribution, or other operational business systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, ETL concepts, APIs, automation workflows, or cloud data platforms is helpful.

Benefits:
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including affordable Anthem medical and Delta dental coverage, vision benefits, 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and more.
If you enjoy building practical reporting solutions, partnering with business leaders, and making data easier to use, we'd like to meet you. Our tagline is discover the difference; come join our team and see how you can be the difference.
