Business Intelligence Analyst
 

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst for JBS Beef USA that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate, timely, and insightful information and analytics to the business utilizing Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Develop and manage dashboards utilizing Qlik platform to provide solutions to problem statements established by the business.
  • Present technical data to a non-technical audience and be able to provide insights on data to business leaders.
  • Communicate directly with JBS Beef USA business leadership to scope problem statements, provide estimated timelines for solution builds and routine updates throughout project build.
  • Identify the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability
  • Leverage AI-powered tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and other AI solutions to improve analysis efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and accelerate reporting development.
  • Collaborate with JBS IT while designing new reporting solutions, automating current reporting solutions or trouble shooting report issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Analytics, Agribusiness, MIS, Computer Science or relevant field
  • 1 year of experience in relevant role
  • Must have development experience in QlikView, Qlik Sense, or relevant business intelligence software
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel required
  • Meat industry experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and presenting skills required
  • Experience deriving insights and trends from a data set
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $85,000-$95,000;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and

The posted salary range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.
