Job description

Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and registered nurse for assigned surgical case. The OB Tech will perform the following duties under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Performs OB technician duties for vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and other GYN surgical procedures. Maintains equipment and supply inventory to insure optimal safety, efficiency, and timely response to patient care needs within the unit. Assists in Newborn nursery and postpartum units as needed and directed. 

Estimated pay range for this position is $30.75 / hour depending on shift as applicable.

Degrees:
  • High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Scrub Technician Training Program Preferred.
  • Six Months to 1 year experience Preferred.
  • Certification Preferred.
Minimum Required Experience: No Experience Required
