Job Description:
  • Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care.
  • Conduct routine and high-quality assessments, examinations, and preventive screenings.
  • Manage low-risk pregnancies and perform vaginal deliveries within scope of practice.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care.
  • Educate patients regarding pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, family planning, and preventive health.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support patient safety standards.
  • Promote wellness and disease prevention through evidence-based care and patient education.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Advanced knowledge of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic care.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based midwifery practices, clinical protocols, and patient safety standards.
  • Understanding of preventative healthcare, family planning, breastfeeding support, and women's wellness services.
  • Understanding of quality improvement principles and population health initiatives.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Ability to manage low-risk pregnancies and provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care within scope of practice.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills with diverse patient populations.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in documentation, care coordination, and healthcare technology.

Certifications and Licensure Required:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
  • Current Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
  • Current BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Pay Range:
