Job Description:
  • Assesses patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records and clinical data.
  • Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
  • Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
  • Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
  • Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluates the effectiveness of teaching.
