This posting is for a full-time, 12-month, exempt position. The Print and Postal Services Coordinator services directs the workflow and output of the University's Print operations. Leveraging advanced proficiency in design software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva), as well as presentation and data tools like PowerPoint and Google Sheets, the Coordinator consults on projects and executes professional print orders. This position supports the Director of Print and Postal Services, Print Services Technician, Postal Clerk, and student employees to ensure strict quality control and timely delivery for faculty, staff, students, and the community. This position will also provide occasional help in Postal Services as needed. Confidentiality is a must as this position will be processing sensitive information.

Essential Functions

This position requires regular, predictable, reliable attendance in the office environment.

1. Serve as a primary contact for all visitors to develop and maintain positive rapport with students, parents, employers, faculty and staff.
2. Program and operate an assortment of copiers/printers. Preparation work with layout and proofing, and finish work (folding, stapling, binding, trimming).
3. Perform routine maintenance on equipment in the Print Services area.
4. Manage daily operations to ensure timely, secure handling of incoming/outgoing print orders.
5. Manage accounting duties and prepare daily deposits.
6. Receive, process, inventory, and deliver mail, supplies, and equipment.
7. Track shipments, process returns, and coordinate with vendors and buyers to resolve discrepancies or damages.
8. Operate and maintain material handling equipment and delivery vehicles. Be familiar with all design and printing-related computer software. Operate and maintain all commercial high-speed printing and finishing equipment and assist with daily printing and postal operations.
9. Prepare, file, and maintain delivery and shipping documentation
10. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, following University safety standards.
11. Provide courteous and professional customer service to campus partners
12. Maintain office in supervisor's absence.
13. Answer phones and provide polite and efficient service to all callers, taking necessary messages.
14. Perform all other duties deemed appropriate for the position.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time 12-month position, and general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
