As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Agent in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public access areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and support badge, credential, and/or visitor verification processes in accordance with site procedures.
  • Communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or public personnel regarding incidents, policy concerns, and changing conditions while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
