Job description

You will sell ad spots on a neighborhood postcard mailer that goes to 5,000 local homes, 8 businesses per side, with a free video feature and free listing for each business on our community site nearme.tel.

We're hiring a commission-only sales rep to sign up local businesses for upcoming mailers. Set your own hours, work as much as you want, and earn $100 per business signed plus a $1,300 bonus for completing a full mailer. A full mailer pays $2,500, and there's no cap on how many you can take on.

Responsibilities

  • Call, text, or visit local businesses to pitch the postcard and video bundle
  • Close deals and collect payment from interested businesses
  • Hand off signed clients to our team for video production and postcard design
  • Follow up with past clients to renew them on future mailers

Qualifications & Skills

  • Comfortable with cold calling or walking into local businesses (we provide leads)
  • Self-motivated and reliable, since this is 100% commission with no base pay
  • Reliable phone or transportation
  • Sales or customer service experience helpful but not required if you can talk to people
  • Must be willing to work as a 1099 independent contractor
