Position Summary:
The Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) at Florida Atlantic University is seeking several Digital Media Assistants in Boca Raton, FL.
The Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) is seeking a creative, innovative, and detail-oriented Digital Media Assistantto support the design, development, and production of multimedia solutions that enhance online learning and professional development initiatives. This position plays a key role in creating instructional and promotional media, supporting faculty and staff projects, and leveraging emerging technologies to deliver engaging digital experiences.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys learning new technologies, and possesses strong technical and creative skills in video production, multimedia development, and digital content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design, development, and production of multimedia content that supports quality online courses, eLearning initiatives, and professional development programs.
  • Support the full media production lifecycle, including planning, filming, editing, post-production, and delivery of digital content.
  • Create and edit instructional videos, promotional media, and other digital learning assets.
  • Assist with the production of 360-degree video content, interactive learning objects, and immersive media experiences.
  • Support the development of media and content for LED volume walls and virtual production environments.
  • Utilize generative AI tools to enhance media production, content creation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with the development and facilitation of live and pre-recorded training sessions and workshops.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and subject matter experts to develop engaging instructional and informational media.
  • Operate and maintain video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio, and recording systems.
  • Edit and manage video footage using industry-standard post-production software.
  • Support studio and on-location productions while adhering to established production workflows and best practices.
  • Assist with media asset organization, storage, and management.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and support for multimedia hardware and software.
  • Travel to FAU campuses and locations as needed to support production activities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
