Goss Construction Company Inc. is a 45+ year-old, California based construction company specializing in concrete repair and restoration, concrete sawing and joint sealing.

Goss Construction is currently looking for a Administrative Assistant

SALARY: Competitive Salary (depending on knowledge and experience)

BENEFITS: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. Vacation & Sick Pay (after 1-year of employment)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Construction Contract Documentation Processing, Proposals, Change Orders, etc.

· Processing Insurance Certificates and Preliminary Information for Projects

· Typing of Correspondence, Proposals and E-mails (from clear copy or verbal dictation and transcribe it accurately)

· Process Weekly Payroll & Weekly Certified Payrolls (LCP Tracker, DIR, City of Los Angeles BCA Reporting)

· Filing of Job Documents and Accounting Paperwork

· Open and Disburse Mail Accordingly Daily

· Answers Phones/Takes Messages

· Daily Checking of Emails/Sending/Typing

· Keeping Track of Employees Appointments

· Making Deposits at Bank, Going to Post Office When Needed, and Additional Miscellaneous Errands as Needed

· Any Additional Support Needed in Office

QUALIFICATIONS: Basic secretarial/clerical operation of an office, e-mailing and preparing correspondence with correct English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation is very important. Filing and reception and telephone usage skills.

SKILLS: Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, Typing 50 Words per Minute or better

EXPERIENCE: Two years of broad, responsible and varied administrative experience serving in an office position. Construction office experience would be desirable but not necessary.
