Job Title: Instructional System Designer (ISD) Job Category: Training Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * CACI has new opportunities for Instructional System Design (ISD) professionals to join our team supporting DOD training operations in Fort Washington, MD. Our Instructional System Designer will design specific training materials (content, objectives, modules or courses). Instructional System Designer duties may include conducting a needs assessment, define training goals/objectives, curriculum design, developing new and/or updating existing materials/content, determine evaluation and assessment strategies to meet training requirements. Coordinate with the customer and TSEC SMEs to identify the critical knowledge, skills, abilities and technical requirements of the training content. What we need our ISDs to do: * Conduct basic needs assessments with TSEC SMEs in reference to existing and future course development.
* Coach TSEC SMEs through course development process by using ADDIE model.
* Work with TSEC SMEs to formulate, format and document curriculum development and changes. Produce training materials (for example instructor guides, student guides, handouts and job aids)
* Work with TSEC SMEs to ensure written and hands on skills test map to appropriate course objectives for test validation.
* Conduct review of existing course material to ensure currency and accuracy annually.
* Implement training technologies (for example, e-learning, virtual learning, learning management systems).
* Collect and analyze student feedback (Level 1 data) for TSEC courses to recommend possible areas requiring changes/improvement (content, instructors, and delivery methodologies.
* Collect and analyze feedback from the instructors about the students and content to identify possible areas requiring changes or improvements.
* Collect and analyze feedback from customers to identify recommended courses development.
* Coordinate and schedule continuing education for ITC staff on trending topics. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Education Technology or Instructional System Design * 5 years experience within the last 8 years in instructional system Design Desired Experience: * Blackboard Asynchronous Learning Management System
