Role Description The Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Physics will deliver high-quality classroom instruction to secondary and senior secondary students, ensuring clear explanation of core physics concepts and their applications. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, designing learning materials, conducting demonstrations and experiments, assigning and evaluating assessments, and providing individualized academic support as needed. The teacher will maintain student records, monitor progress, and collaborate with colleagues to align teaching strategies and academic standards. Additional duties involve mentoring students for board examinations and competitive exams, participating in parent-teacher meetings, and contributing to school events and academic initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, OH.

Qualifications

  • Strong subject-matter expertise in Physics, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accurately.
  • Proven classroom management and instructional skills, including lesson planning, student engagement, and use of practical demonstrations.
  • Assessment and evaluation skills, such as designing tests, grading assignments, and providing constructive feedback to support student improvement.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, families, and colleagues in a professional and supportive manner.
  • Ability to integrate technology into teaching, including use of digital resources, multimedia tools, and online learning platforms.
  • Master’s degree in Physics or a closely related field from a recognized institution; relevant teaching certification or licensure as required by local regulations.
  • Prior experience teaching Physics at secondary or senior secondary level; experience preparing learners for board and competitive examinations is an advantage.
