• Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, utilizing assessments and diagnostic tools as needed.
• Counseling and Support: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients facing challenges such as mental health issues, trauma, or social disadvantage, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Service Planning: Develop, implement, and review individualized service plans that align with clients' unique goals, ensuring a tailored approach to their care.
• Advocacy: Serve as a strong advocate for clients’ rights, helping them access necessary resources and services, while addressing broader social justice issues.
• Program Development: Contribute to the creation and evaluation of community programs, and participate in grant reporting to showcase impact and secure funding.
• Collaboration: Work alongside community organizations, government bodies, and volunteers to enhance the quality and reach of services provided.
• Training and Participation: Engage in regular team meetings, ongoing training sessions, and community outreach initiatives to stay connected with developments and resources in the field.

As an LCSW at Positive Steps Consultancy, you will serve a diverse population, including individuals and families facing challenges related to mental health, trauma, and socioeconomic disparities. • Education: A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensure: Must possess an active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization or community health setting is highly desirable.
