Join our dynamic positive team as a Room Attendant and be the cornerstone of creating a welcoming, clean and fresh environment for our great guests. In this role, you will ensure that every guest room and our public area meets the high Marriott standards of cleanliness and comfort. Fostering a positive and inviting atmosphere throughout the property.
The SpringHill Suites by Marriott BHAM Colonnade Grandview is a fine 120 All-Suite Hotel. Located immediately off Exit #19 on I-459 and Hwy #280, the hotel location makes an easy and simple presence and commute. A well-kept property, a positive location, good pay and benefits including free and safe parking makes this hotel a smart choice to consider working. Duties
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive first impression
  • Manage 2nd shift guest check-in processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software - brand new Marriott standard STAY pms.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, offering helpful information about hotel amenities and local attractions
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled swiftly via communication devices including front desk logbook
  • Maintain professional phone etiquette and manage multiple communication channels to assist guests effectively
Experience
  • Previous experience in hotel management operations or front desk operations within a hotel, resort or hospitality environment is highly preferred
  • Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS software, reservation systems, and multi-line phone systems
  • Knowledge of hospitality best practices, guest services, and hotel procedures to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Proven ability to manage guest relations with professionalism, patience, enthusiasm and a smile!
