As a Technology Support Specialist, you will help further INFRA's vision of a sustainable, equitable food system by keeping the tech on track so that our staff and our members can focus on bringing good food to communities across the country.
What you will own and improve:
IT Support- Tier I and II
  • Primary go-to for user support. Troubleshoot and resolve tech issues for INFRA staff.
  • Assist members to access and use INFRA's technology tools
  • Improve member IT best practices and support.
  • Advise members on email, POS systems, and other basic tools
  • Pitch in to help wherever else may be helpful

Hardware/software inventory and management
  • Manage and document hardware and software installation, maintenance, and inventory

IT training and documentation
  • Support internal trainings, including technical review of documentation and delivery of training
  • Conduct educational technology user groups and/or in-person events

Research, vet, and test technical solutions
  • Promote information security within the business
  • Stay current with industry trends, hardware, software lifecycles, and new technology opportunities

*Outside-hours work is periodically required for necessary work
*Travel up to 5% may be required for this position.
What you already know:
  • A lover of learning! We love self-taught, curious tech folks.
  • 1-3 years' experience working in IT and customer support
  • Advanced training or certification in an IT field required. Associates degree in IT field preferred
  • Experience proactively and reactively supporting both Mac and PC platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra, Intune, and SharePoint
  • Experience educating/training end users in a variety of ways (in-person, written, video)
  • Relationship builder with excellent in-person and remote customer service. Experienced with a hybrid workforce.
  • Performs and prioritizes multiple tasks in a calm manner with great attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Skillful problem solver who takes initiative to find solutions and improve upon processes
  • Professional manner and ability to handle confidential situations
  • Clear, approachable written and verbal communicator; comfortable with speaking and presenting to large groups
  • Experience working with retail POS systems a plus (ECRS, LOC, etc.)

Status: full-time exempt
Travel requirements: Occasional travel (up to 5%) may be required.
Salary info: TT2 $57,500-$72,000-$84,000
