Warehouse Manager
The Warehouse Manager will lead the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring materials, tools, equipment, and vehicles are available to support field operations. This hands-on leadership role oversees warehouse inventory, deliveries, purchasing support, fleet coordination, and facility operations. The Warehouse Manager ensures warehouse operations are safe, organized, and efficient while protecting company assets and supporting the needs of the field.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify quantity, condition, and accuracy against purchase orders; ensure proper storage.
- Process field material requests, fulfill orders from warehouse inventory, and coordinate timely material deliveries to support field operations.
- Manage warehouse inventory, including organizing stock, processing returned materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Assist Purchasing Manager with ordering materials and prepare purchase orders (POs) as needed.
- Perform deliveries to job sites as needed.
- Maintain tool & equipment, including inventory, inspections, transfers, repairs.
- Coordinate repairs on company vehicles with drivers and department managers.
- Serve as point of contact for office and warehouse facility issues (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, electrical); coordinate with vendors or maintenance personnel to resolve.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical material and equipment is highly desirable.
- General mechanical ability; tools, vehicles and facilities.
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
- Treats vendors and co-workers with respect.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of warehouse experience in a supervisory position.
- Experience driving box trucks and pulling trailers.
- OSHA 10 Training.
- Must maintain Forklift Certification.
- Must have a clean driving record and pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Have a DOT Medical Card or able to obtain.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook and Excel.
