Job description

ITSM FieldTechs is building a dependable technician bench across Indiana for dispatched work orders and project deployments. This contract role is a strong fit for independent technicians, gig workers, students or interns with hands-on skills, small service companies, and anyone transitioning into field-based IT work who can be responsive, professional, and consistent. Technicians will travel to commercial, residential, and business locations to install, service, and troubleshoot IT and low-voltage equipment. Work may include POS installs and break/fix support, security camera/CCTV service, ATM or kiosk-related tasks, network cabling and connectivity troubleshooting, drive-thru system support, and other onsite technology requests depending on the client and location. Qualified candidates should have solid field experience, strong problem-solving ability, and reliable transportation.

You must have a basic tool kit, a mobile phone, and a laptop, and you must be able to communicate clearly with dispatch while documenting work completed with notes and photos when required. Pay is competitive and issued on a biweekly schedule. Mileage is reimbursed one way at the federal rate of $0.67 per mile, and approved parts are reimbursed the same day when documented.
