Job description

Mountain Ltd. has an opening for a GIS Analyst/Specialist to work remotely while supporting teams across the United States.

The GIS Analyst/Specialist will provide technical expertise and project support for GIS-based initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining GIS data, creating maps and spatial analyses, establishing workflows and quality standards, managing project schedules and deliverables, and presenting observations that support operational improvements. This role will communicate and collaborate with clients, project teams, and senior leadership and participate in meetings as required.

Candidates must have at least intermediate Portuguese proficiency.

Additional duties commensurate with the role will be completed as required.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS applications, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online • Experience developing, maintaining, analyzing, and validating geospatial data • Ability to manage project scope, schedules, priorities, and deliverables • Knowledge of GIS data standards, spatial analysis, mapping, and quality-control practices • Ability to translate technical requirements into practical GIS solutions and workflows • Ability to influence and collaborate across organizational boundaries • Proven ability to build strong client, peer-level, and cross-functional relationships • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and learn multiple applications • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities • Ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple projects effectivelyTelecommunications, utility, or outside-plant engineering experience preferred
