At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company's premiere vacation brands across Disney's Parks & Resorts worldwide.The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for digital and physical Guest and Crew experience for all technology and digital-led initiatives.

What You Will Do:

As a Portfolio Manager, you will drive a product centric portfolio, supporting strategic roadmap of annual and long-term capital and expense plans. You will also focus on portfolio forecast planning, capacity planning, and prioritization. You will maintain reports and presentations for executive level communications and anticipate risks, impacts, and opportunities within the portfolio. This is a highly collaborative role where partnership with many technical and non-technical teams is essential.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Own the project forecast planning for large scale portfolio.

  • Partner with Finance to provide cause for change variances, assist in monthly/quarterly close procedures, and monthly/quarterly updates.

  • Consolidate, communicate, and partner with project, product, and portfolio teams to resolve variances across the planning cycle, escalating risk when necessary.

  • Gather, analyze, and maintain reports for capacity planning, forecast rationalization and priorities.

  • Provide results for key financial activities such as Long-Term Plan, Annual Capital Plan, Annual Operating Plan.

  • Support accurate inputs within the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system.

  • Develop effective partnerships and collaborate with leads across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience

  • Expert level skills in Excel. Experience with PPM software is preferred.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to balance and shift gears while maintaining a good sense of humor.

  • Proficient in the basics of project management such as project planning, resource planning, issue management, and organizational change.

  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle

  • Experience partnering with multiple creative and technical teams.

  • Excellent business communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive and resourceful when handling issues

  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $88,800.00 to $121,900.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
