The anticipated hourly starting rate for the ideal candidate is $23.09 Minimum Requirements A valid Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) A minimum of 4 years of experience providing high-level administrative support or any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties effectively, may be substituted Proficient level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace Must successfully pass a criminal background screening, drug test, and meet the requirements to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, through the SIDA training process and TSA Security Threat Assessment prior to employment Must complete Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) limited access training within two weeks of hire. To apply and obtain CJIS security training, you must be a United States citizen or have been a lawful resident of the United States for the past 10 consecutive years Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact by answering incoming calls, scheduling meetings, taking accurate messages, and routing technical matters to the appropriate department personnel efficiently Attend meetings, conferences, and training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of public safety administrative principles and best practices Manage, order, and document the inventory and issuance of uniforms, police equipment, and office supplies Process payroll, purchase orders, vendor payments, and routine budget transactions as an assigned department delegate Assist in the development, implementation, and tracking of the departmental budget Facilitate the applicant hiring and onboarding processes to ensure all deadlines are met Manage FDLE/CJSTC files, payroll compliance, and officer incentive pay records with high proficiency Please review full job description here.
