Activities
  • Develop strong relationships with all groups within the Platform including Engineering, Businesses teams, Capital, and Turn Around.
  • Oversee the design, selection, configuration, maintenance, development, and implementation of the life cycle plans for the power distribution systems at the refinery.
  • Analyzing existing systems, developing strategies for improving safety, reliability, efficiency, and quality of the power distribution systems by performing benchmarking and gap closure analysis for the asset health.
  • Troubleshoot the power distribution system failures and works with the Power Distribution Coordinator to ensure the repairs are prioritized and completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support for the power distribution system as required.

Candidate Profile
  • BS in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 5+ years' experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in ISA, ANSI, NEC, NESC, IEEE, and OSHA 1910 standards as they apply to electrical equipment and safe work practices.
  • Experience in the application of protective relaying.
  • Experience in the design and troubleshooting of electrical switchgear.
  • Knowledge in the repair and control of both induction and synchronous motors.
  • Experience in the use and interpretation of data collected with standard electrical test equipment.
  • Ability to lead by example, logical problem-solving skills, works well in team environment, able to manage multiple/changing priorities.
