PORSCHE WOODLAND HILLS | EXPERIENCED SERVICE ADVISOR

Porsche Woodland Hills is seeking a full-time Service Advisor to join our award winning team as we move into our new state of the art generation 5 dealership. 

JOB SUMMARY 

Owner loyalty, customer retention, customer satisfaction, and sales are the primary function of a Service Advisor. The job encompasses the proper satisfaction of guests and vehicle-related concerns, meeting pre-determined service sales objectives, and the thorough and accurate performance of designated administrative activities. The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department, writing up service work, and selling additional needed service to the guests.  Other responsibilities include meeting time promises to guests, verification of repair quality, guest relations and information, and performance of assigned work.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a dealership position
  • 1 year of exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and clean valid driver license
  • General knowledge of vehicles mechanical operations
  • High School diploma or the equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA

Job Description

  • Schedules service appointments
  • Obtains customer and vehicle data before arrival when possible
  • Greet customers in a timely, warm, and friendly manner
  • Listen to the client first without interruption, be present
  • Establishes “promised time”
  • Test-drive the vehicle or refer to the test technician as necessary
  • Checks on progress of repair throughout the day
  • Follow up with the client on progress throughout the day(s)
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts
  • Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promise time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index rating at least comparable to that of the manufacturer, zone, or branch average
  • Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles by manufacturers’ specifications, using maintenance menus
  • Maintains a dealership-prescribed standard for “hours per customer repair order written.”
  • Full comprehension and proper execution of federal, state, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor
