Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Senior Automation Consultant to work in Whippany, NJ. The role involves assessing critical test automation problems and developing automation code while collaborating with functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in discussions with functional team to understand the gherkin tests along-with required Pre and Post conditions.
• Create query log/ mind map/ flow charts
• Create Automation code using Java, Selenium, JQuery, Cucumber.
• Set up and Execute Automated tests and record evidence.
• Raise defects with appropriate amount of details
• Hand-over the automated scripts post stabilization to functional release teams and feature teams.
• Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders to track deliverable during test automation and dry-run phases where applicable. Escalate issues to LM as appropriate
• Complete tasks / deliverables within schedule constraints (for self)
• Provide guidance to other team members on technology/ application queries.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Significant knowledge on the HTML DOM structure and application (ROLB)
• Participate in discussions with functional team to understand the gherkin tests along-with required Pre and Post conditions
