We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician Helper to join our award-winning Service Team and play an integral role in supporting our technicians and daily shop operations.
 
This position is ideal for an individual with a passion for high-performance automobiles who is looking to begin or advance a career in automotive service. Working alongside Porsche Gold and Silver Certified Technicians, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while helping maintain the efficiency, organization, cleanliness, and safety of one of New England's premier Porsche service centers.

Responsibilities

  • Support technicians with daily shop operations and repair activities.
  • Assist with routine maintenance services, including quick lube and basic maintenance procedures.
  • Provide hands-on assistance during complex repairs requiring an additional team member.
  • Organize, inventory, and maintain specialty tools and shop equipment.
  • Maintain exceptional shop cleanliness and organization throughout all work areas.
  • Ensure workspaces remain safe, efficient, and compliant with Porsche and dealership standards.
  • Help prepare vehicles, parts, and equipment before and after repairs.
  • Assist with moving vehicles throughout the service department as needed.
  • Serve as a key contributor in maintaining an organized, professional, and efficient shop environment.
  • Work collaboratively with technicians, shop foreman, parts department, and service advisors to support daily operational success.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology.
  • Completion of an OEM technical training program.
  • Current ASE Certifications or progress toward ASE Certification.
  • Previous dealership or professional automotive repair experience.

The pay for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. based on experience.
