About the Role
The Merchandise Coordinator is an exciting and challenging opportunity to learn about the Dolls Kill Merchandising Department from the ground up. In this role, you'll be an integral part of the team and support the day-to-day functions of the department.
 
Please note this is an entry-level, hourly position located in Oakland, CA
Ideal candidate can commit to in office Monday - Thursday. 
Responsibilities:
  • Purchase order management - creating, tracking, and updating POs; confirming pricing, quantities, and delivery dates with vendors
  • Vendor & factory coordination - following up on shipments, samples, and any delays; being the day-to-day contact 
  • Admin/systems work - heavy use of Excel/Google Suite and retail systems (like NetSuite) for tracking style numbers, costs, margins
  • Reorders & replenishment - flagging fast-sellers for reorder, monitoring stock levels
  • Cross-functional liaison - working closely with planning, marketing, and e-commerce teams to align on drops and campaigns
  • Marketing prep - organizing samples, marketing decks, and trend research ahead of design meetings 
 
Requirements:
  • College degree preferred
  • 1 - 2 years retail experience a plus
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail a must
  • Ability to problem solve and identify solutions
  • Sense of urgency
  • Self-starter and highly motivated, capable of balancing multiple priorities
  • Strong Excel Skills
