Thank you for your interest! BluTex Pools is a midsized Pool Service and Repair Company in Houston, and we are looking for the right fit for our Pool Cleaning Technician position! The candidate we are looking for is someone who is growth-oriented and truly cares about the customer experience. Our customers are the reason for our success, and our commitment to service is what sets us apart from the many companies in the area.

Our ideal hire would be self-motivated, detail-oriented, smart/hard worker, honest, positive, adaptable, and a good communicator. It is important that our customers see our technicians as Pool Professionals and not just another "pool guy/girl." Experience is not required, we are willing to train if you are will to learn!

Responsibilities:

  • Brushing pool waterline, walls, skimmer throats, and stairs
  • Vacuuming pool & spa
  • Emptying of skimmer baskets, pump baskets, cleaner bags
  • Skimming of pool surface
  • Check/add all chemicals necessary
  • Complete Algae Treatments
  • Check filter pressure and backwash filter as necessary
  • Visual inspection of pool equipment for leaks and error codes
  • Inspect orings and seals for damage and leaks
  • Keep track of inventory and replace parts as needed
  • Use Route Software to report service information to customers or equipment issues to management.
  • Spend the appropriate time at each pool, thorough cleanings can not be completed in less than 20-30 minutes. NET AND JET WILL NOT WORK HERE. This is a 35-40 hour a week job.

The Pool Service Technician will be visiting the same homes each week and will be responsible for the success of their route. They will be accountable for the proper and complete cleaning and chemistry of each pool on the route every week.   • Valid Drivers License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Willing to undergo a background check
  • Be able to lift 75lbs by yourself
  • Able to work in all weather conditions (heat,cold,rain etc)
  • Have a smartphone and willing to download company applications to complete service (100% paperless company)
  • **This is a W2 position
