Job Summary: The Pool Cafe Attendant is responsible for greeting guests with a positive attitude, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, handling cash and room charges, and maintaining a clean and organized service area. This role ensures a high standard of guest service and food quality while adhering to health regulations and performing general cleaning duties.

Essential Functions and Duties:
Greets guests and provides prompt food and beverage service.
Ensures food and beverage quality standards are maintained.
Presents menus, answers guest questions, and makes food and drink recommendations.
Takes and processes orders, handles payments, and ensures accurate cash handling.
Clears tables and maintains a clean and organized cafe area.
Stocks the cafe before, during, and after shifts.
Performs side work and ensures proper storage of supplies.
Maintains cleanliness of work and storage areas, adhering to health regulations.
Observes guests to respond to additional requests and ensure satisfaction.
Completes general cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
Completes cash handling procedures and follows property control standards.

Reports to management on any guest issues or equipment malfunctions.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent guest service.
Work Environment:
Primarily works indoors but may be exposed to temperature changes.
May use cleaning chemicals throughout the shift.
Stands or walks for extended periods.
Regularly lifts and carries objects up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lifts objects up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
