Position Summary
The Pool Experience Supervisor is responsible for the daily coordination, service execution, and overall guest experience of the pool operation.
This seasonal role provides ownership and support over the pool deck, poolside bar, cabanas, lounge chairs, reservations, cleanliness, towel presentation, and guest service touchpoints.
This position works closely with Food & Beverage, Spa, Housekeeping, Front Office, and Engineering to ensure the pool area is clean, organized, properly stocked, and delivering a consistent resort style guest experience.
The Pool Experience Supervisor is expected to be highly visible on the pool deck, actively assisting the team, supporting service needs, and ensuring guest concerns are addressed quickly and professionally.
Essential Functions
Oversee the daily pool operation, including poolside bar service, cabanas, lounge chairs, pool deck presentation, and guest flow.
Assist with poolside bar coverage as needed, including supporting bartenders, servers, and service staff during peak volume.
Coordinate cabana reservations and bookings from ResortPass between Food & Beverage, Spa, and other applicable departments.
Support poolside service by taking orders, assisting servers, delivering food and beverage items, and ensuring guests are attended to in a timely manner.
Monitor lounge chair and cabana setup to ensure presentation standards are maintained throughout the day.
Partner with Housekeeping to ensure the pool deck remains clean, organized, and guest ready at all times.
Ensure towels are stocked, used towels are removed, and towel areas remain neat and properly presented.
Walk the pool deck regularly to identify cleanliness, service, safety, maintenance, and guest experience concerns.
Communicate maintenance or safety issues to Engineering and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
Assist with guest recovery and respond to concerns related to pool service, cabana reservations, seating, cleanliness, or overall experience.
Support staffing needs by adjusting priorities during peak periods and assisting the team wherever needed.
Ensure service standards, uniform standards, and guest interaction expectations are followed by all associates supporting the pool area.
Maintain strong communication with Food & Beverage leadership, Spa leadership, Housekeeping, Front Office, and Security as needed.
Assist with opening and closing procedures for the pool operation.
Support revenue opportunities through cabana bookings, poolside food and beverage service, and attentive guest engagement.
Maintain a professional, visible, and approachable leadership presence on the pool deck.
Qualifications
Prior bar or restaurant experience required.
Prior hospitality, recreation, spa, or pool operation experience preferred.
Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Strong guest service, communication, and problem solving skills required.
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time in seasonal weather conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, and move throughout the pool area for extended periods.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts based on business levels.
Food handler and alcohol service certification may be required based on property standards.
