Job description

Are you ready to make a splash in your career? Horizon Commercial Pools is on the lookout for experienced concrete finishers to join our team in either our Eden Prairie or Blaine locations.

As a Finishing Technician you will be using your skills in the trade of concrete or stucco to pool plaster finishing. In the swimming pool industry, you will combine multiple skill sets of traditional concrete techniques while working with pool plaster and other finishings including surface preparation, tile installation, plaster preparation and installation. If you have experience with concrete, stucco, drywall or similar products, this job is for you!

Requirements

What do we need from you?

  • Previous experience in concrete, plaster, stucco or related construction experience.
  • Able to physically perform the functions of the job which include bending, squatting, upper body movement and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Customer service attitude and the ability to interact with our customers and team members.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.
  • Willingness to travel (25%) with a $59 daily per diem.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 80 lbs.
  • Must be able to frequently push or pull objects weighing up to 80lbs, including weights above this with pallet-jack assistance.
  • Requires the physical ability to use hands, arms, feet and legs for repetitive movements, bending, squatting and reaching.
