Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 24 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience within the last 2 years.

• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - MaineHealth.

Unit Details: Patient ratios: 1:2 (1:3 in ICU).

Shift & Scheduling: Shift options: 7am to 7:30 pm or 7pm to 7:30 am. 75% weekends required. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on HCP experience. Floating to any IMC at the organization, patient ratios 1:3 in IMC. You will float to SICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, and CICU. You will be expected to care for basic ICU patients in each department such as sedated, intubated, and pressors, but you will not be caring for high complexity patients such as CRRT. Can potentially take multiple different assignments in the same shift if needed.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
