The position will be responsible to monitor the pool gate/access to ensure that only owners or guests of owners are allowed to enter and use the facilities. Pool Attendants are not lifeguards and are not responsible for any duties or task associated with such position.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for monitoring the pool access/gate to ensure only owners or guest of owners are allowed to enter the facilities.
  • Upkeep of the overall cleanliness of the pool deck and bathrooms
  • Handling and dosing of all chemicals needed for proper functioning of pools.
  • Upkeep of restrooms; cleaning, restocking supplies, as needed etc.
  • Reporting any problems that you are unable to fix.
  • Accurately logging detailed notes of daily procedures done at a pool.
  • Must wear pool safety equipment at all times.
  • Friendly, personable and social with residents.
  • Effective and efficient with time, work quality, and final product.
  • Consistently produce high quality work.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Flexible and good time management.
  • Maintains professionalism - courteous, polite, etc.
  • Dependable.
  • Honorable and trustworthy.
  • Reliable personal vehicle, preferably a truck (compensated for drive time/mileage).
  • General or light tools (some mechanical inclination recommended).

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Possess a valid driver's license and insurance, and must not have a record of a revoked or suspended license as determined upon review of the motor vehicle driving report or record in accordance with applicable law.
  • Valid driver's license and state mandated vehicle insurance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures.
  • Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
  • Enjoy the outdoors and to work in different environmental conditions (e.g. heat, wind, rain).
  • Walk and climb stairs; Driving when necessary; repeat various motions with wrists, hands and arms.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Salary
  • $15 - $16 / hour

Travel
  • Within the Kansas City metropolitan area. Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance, and must not have a record of a revoked or suspended license as determined upon review of the motor vehicle driving report or record in accordance with applicable law.
  • Must possess the minimum essential motor vehicle insurance.
  • Must have a personal vehicle that will be used for business purposes (mileage reimbursement provided).
