Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Aluminum Deck & Railing Installer to join our construction team. In this role, you will install aluminum deck systems, railings, and related components on multi-family apartment buildings and commercial residential projects. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors and at heights.

Responsibilities

  • Install aluminum decks, railings, stairs, and related components according to project specifications and building codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and installation plans.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble aluminum materials using hand and power tools.
  • Ensure all installations are level, secure, and meet quality standards.
  • Work safely on elevated platforms, scaffolding, ladders, and aerial lifts.
  • Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment at job sites.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and team members.
  • Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

  • Previous construction or carpentry experience preferred.
  • Experience installing aluminum decks, railings, or similar architectural products is a plus.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with commercial or multi-family construction.
  • Knowledge of building codes and construction safety practices.
