Job Title: Construction Laborer
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform numerous tasks involving dexterous use of hands and hand tools such as tying rebar, cutting wood, using a jackhammer, setting/dismantling forms, and shoveling.
  • Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies. Responsible for keeping tools, materials, equipment, and work area clean.
  • Smooth and form freshly poured concrete using a float, trowel, or screed.
  • Grind, sand, or polish surfaces such as concrete, marble, or wood flooring using abrasive tools or machines.
  • Assist other craft specialist with various tasks as needed.
  • Follow Company safety policies and adhere to them while working at all times.
  • Will assist other workers in various labor-based tasks. This will require heavy lifting capabilities (up to 100 pounds).
  • Other miscellaneous duties as directed by the jobsite supervisor.

Job Qualifications:
  • Able to work productively in a team environment and follow directions given by jobsite supervisors.
  • Able to travel to and from various jobsite locations with reliable transportation.
  • Able to work safely according to Company policy and OSHA standards.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, balance, climb and crawl frequently, with the ability to lift 25-75+ lbs. occasionally.
  • You are required to provide the following items for your personal use:
    • Hard-Sole Leather/Steel Toe Boots
    • Hammer
    • Tape Measure
    • Tool Belt
    • Pliers

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with framing, concrete or formwork is preferred.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as a skid steer, boom lift or concrete mixer is preferred.
