About the Role

Red Leaf Developments is seeking an experienced Commercial Pool Construction Foreman to lead commercial swimming pool construction projects from daily production through completion.

The Foreman will work closely with the Project Manager to execute project plans, maintain production schedules, manage field crews, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Red Leaf's quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with commercial pool construction experience who can effectively manage crews, communicate clearly with project stakeholders, solve problems in the field, and take ownership of jobsite performance.


Key Responsibilities

Jobsite Leadership & Production

  • Lead and supervise daily activities of commercial pool construction crews
  • Assign tasks, manage workflow, and ensure crews are productive and working safely
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding project schedules, materials, manpower, and job progress
  • Maintain production schedules and support completion of projects on time and within labor budgets
  • Monitor job phases and help control labor costs through effective crew management
  • Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail throughout all phases of construction

Safety & Quality Control

  • Promote and enforce jobsite safety policies, procedures, and OSHA standards
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Identify potential jobsite issues and communicate solutions with management
  • Inspect completed work to ensure Red Leaf quality standards are met

Communication & Team Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, vendors, and field team members
  • Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, work orders, and material lists
  • Provide daily updates regarding production progress, challenges, and resource needs
  • Train, coach, and support crew members to improve performance and craftsmanship

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial swimming pool construction, pool installation, or related construction trades
  • Experience leading or supervising construction crews
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans, drawings, and job specifications
  • Strong understanding of construction safety practices and jobsite procedures
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and maintain accountability in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial pool plumbing, equipment installation, or related mechanical systems
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
  • Experience training, coaching, and developing field personnel
  • Experience managing labor productivity and production goals

Physical Requirements

The ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds, the ability to stoop, crawl, kneel, bend at the neck and waist, twist at the neck and waist, grasp, use fine manipulation, reach above shoulder height, lift and stand for long periods of time, (up to 10 hours per day), the ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold, walk on uneven ground in dusty and dirty conditions. You may be required to work overtime, irregular or varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
