OUR NATIONAL CONVERSATION (ONC) seeks to reduce partisanship and promote
effective solutions to America's challenges. Powered by America's youth, we host a
media outlet, produce educational materials and facilitate dialogue intended to
make America a better country.

Job Description

Our National Conversation is building a non-partisan solution platform for American policy issues.ย 

We're looking for 3-4 skilled on-air debaters to join our monthly political podcast, presenting well-researched, persuasive arguments on political issues. You'll participate in structured debates via zoom, that will be subsequently edited and posted onto our social media platforms. There may be prior collaboration with the production team on prep and fact-checking. This is a recurring role (monthly) requiring reliable availability, commitment to show guidelines, and support of the nonprofit's mission. Depending on ideas, availability, and success, we may hold multiple debates each month.ย 

This position is remote, with work primarily conducted over Zoom and Slack, so applicants must be comfortable coordinating in a remote environment and are expected to maintain a high level of communication. The duration of these duties is preferred to be at least six (6) months.ย 

Compensation: This is not a paid position.
