What is political consulting?

Political consulting is a professional service that provides strategic advice and support to political campaigns, candidates, parties, and organizations. Political consultants help with campaign strategy, public relations, voter outreach, media management, opposition research, and sometimes fundraising. Their goal is to improve a candidate or party’s chances of winning elections or achieving policy objectives. Consultants may work independently or as part of a firm, and their expertise can be crucial in highly competitive races.
