Overview:
MiQ is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Political Trading Assistant for the 2026 US Political Election Cycle. This position offers hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of our Programmatic Trading department. As a Political Trading Assistant, you will have the opportunity to assist in a wide range of Political election campaigns, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn from experienced professionals in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with managing a large portfolio of Political advertising campaigns and ensuring that all campaigns are performing & pacing optimally.
  • Assist with creating, formatting, and checking client facing reports on campaign performance and delivery
  • Use critical thinking to analyze complex data sets to test new campaign strategies and exceed client KPIs.
  • Analyze and track campaign performance, interpret real-time data and insights to communicate the effectiveness of campaigns to stakeholders.
  • Conduct research, gather data, and analyze information to support project objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas, solve problems, and drive innovation.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the department and organization's goals.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in developing analytical skills, solving challenging problems using complex data sets, and helping to revolutionize the digital advertising and programmatic space.
  • Strong Excel skillset
  • Willingness to work on a range of campaigns relating to various Political affiliations (Democrat, Republican, Independent)

Pay Transparency
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $25/hour. This range may vary for positions outside of New York as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
