What is polished concrete?

Polished concrete floors are concrete surfaces that have been mechanically ground, honed, and polished to achieve a smooth and shiny finish. This process involves using progressively finer grinding tools and applying chemical hardeners to increase durability and enhance the floor’s appearance. Polished concrete is popular in both residential and commercial spaces due to its low maintenance, longevity, and modern aesthetic. It is also environmentally friendly, as it utilizes existing concrete slabs without requiring additional materials.
