Job description

Location:  This is a remote-based role that requires flexibility and willingness to travel within a specified territory and for company-related purposes as needed.

The Opportunity

Praxis Precision Medicines is entering a pivotal moment as we prepare for commercialization, and how we build and scale capability across the organization will directly impact our success. We are seeking driven and customer-focused Account Specialists to execute in the field and drive commercial performance across a defined territory.  You will be responsible for engaging healthcare providers, building strong customer relationships, and delivering on commercial objectives.  Working closely with cross-functional partners, you will play a critical role in supporting product launches, driving adoption, and ensuring patients gain access to innovative therapies.

What You'll Do

  • Execute territory business plans to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders.
  • Drive product adoption through effective customer engagement and education.
  • Navigate complex patient pathways and support access to therapy.
  • Partner with Market Access, Strategic Accounts, Patient Services, and Medical teams to optimize customer and patient outcomes.
  • Support launch execution, including pre-launch planning and post-launch adoption strategies.
  • Leverage insights from the field to inform strategy and improve execution.
  • Maintain a high level of product, disease state, and market knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.

How You Work

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in rare disease, CNS, or specialty pharmaceuticals.
  • Deep understanding of complex patient pathways and specialist prescriber dynamics.
  • Participation in a recent product launch highly preferred, including familiarity with pre-launch planning and early market execution.
  • Experience with formulary access strategies and early market penetration tactics.
  • Experience selling into hospital systems, IDNs, and institutional accounts is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of specialty pharmacy and hub services models.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong, consistent performance against quota and territory goals.
  • Evidence of execution against target metrics with year-over-year improvement.

To round out our world-class total rewards package, this position may be filled at either the Specialist ($155k - $170k) or Senior Specialist ($175k - $192k) level depending on qualifications and business needs.  These ranges reflect the base salary ranges the Company reasonably expects to pay for each level at the time of posting.  Placement within the range will be based on job-related factors, including experience, qualifications, scope of responsibilities, and demonstrated track record of delivering results in similar roles.
