Job description

As an Account Manager at Polhemus, you’ll play a key role in delivering magnetic tracking solutions to some of the biggest names in tech, healthcare, aerospace, and more!

Our customer base spans a wide range of industries, and no two applications are perfectly alike. You’ll work closely with inbound leads to understand their application requirements, recommend optimal hardware, and assist with post-sales support. In addition to this, you'll support sales objectives through researching and identifying new opportunities as well as growing existing partner accounts in the United States, and abroad.

What You'll Do:

  • Become an expert in motion tracking technology
  • Engage directly with inbound sales opportunities via email, website chat, and phone
  • Provide tailored hardware recommendations based on customer needs
  • Manage relationships with select distributors and OEM/VAR partners
  • Travel in support of sales opportunities and to represent Polhemus at industry events (less than 10% travel on average)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years prior professional experience in customer service or sales
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Polhemus is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this on-site role based in Colchester, VT is $55,000 - $65,000. The final compensation offered will be based on many factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and other qualifications.
