If you have at least one year of experience dealing Poker or Table Games, take the next exciting step in your career by joining our Poker department as a Poker Floorperson. You'll have the opportunity to grow your leadership skills while managing a team of skilled dealers and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional, seamless gaming experience. In this role, you'll be supporting daily operations, maintaining game integrity, and delivering the high level of service that keeps our poker room energized and our guests coming back for more!
Below are some of the responsibilities as a Potawatomi Casino Hotel Poker Floorperson:
  1. Support Poker department management in daily table operations.
  2. Monitor tables, guests, and dealers.
  3. Supervise team members, as well as hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
  4. Verify bankroll accuracy between shifts and assist with shift change counts.
  5. Ensure games run smoothly.
  6. Track guests length of play and average bet.
  7. Report unusual or suspicious activity to the Poker Manager.
  8. Handle Poker room administrative and accounting tasks.
  9. Foster positive guest relationships.
  10. Stay informed on gaming laws and company policies.
  11. Ensure full compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
