The minimum compensation for this role is listed below; pay will be determined based on experience:

$20 - $22 per hour

Eat. Sleep. Market Beer. Repeat: Our Point of Sale Production Designers create and print custom items such as posters, banners, displays and menus that will be used at restaurants, grocery stores and bars around Michigan. We take great pride in choosing Point of Sale Designers who are passionate about their work, independent, can manage their time efficiently, and design in Illustrator with ease. The hours for this full-time position are Monday-Thursday from 11:30am-10pm. Let us know if you have questions about our flexibility around school hours!

A Day in the Life

  • Arrive to the office ready to work
  • Open software to review submitted design orders and assign yourself to orders for the evening
  • Create point of sale items until all jobs are complete
  • Print and label point of sale created for next day delivery
  • Using iPod, print tags to identify which delivery truck the product should be placed on
  • Match all created point of sale with shipping tags and place in shipping area

Requirements

  • Graphic Design or Marketing degree/certification, obtained or in progress
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Design portfolio available to showcase skills required
  • Ability to complete design projects quickly and efficiently using Adobe Illustrator
  • Communication skills to ensure designs accurately reflect the desired message and meet customer needs
  • Time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Sense of urgency and attention to detail while working within deadlines
