Position: Urgent Care Staff Physician 

Location: Fresno, CA

1099: Full-time, Part-time, & PRN Available 

Salary: $150/hour

Bonus: $100,000 Sign-On for Full-Time Only

Stipend: $60,000/year for Medical Directorship

Job Overview:

For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with the advancement to a Medical Directorship in Fresno, CA.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
  • Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing 4 mid-level providers.
  • Part-time will be a minimum of 6 shifts per month, and managing up to 4 mid-level providers.
  • Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.
  • Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
  • Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray.
  • All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
  • Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute

Qualifications:

Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O)

Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program

Truly Board-Eligible or Board Certified

CA Medical License that is active and in good standing

DEA Certificate
