As our Certified Medical Assistant, you will help our patients receive exceptional care efficiently and effectively so they can experience a seamless and supportive healthcare journey. 


Every day you will directly support providers by assisting throughout the patient visit continuum, from pre-visit preparation and rooming to post-visit duties. This includes performing vital sign measurements (weight, height, BP, pulse, respirations, temperature) and various patient care procedures within MA scope of practice, such as injections, EKGs, ear lavage, and blood draw. Managing patient flow, informing providers of schedule adjustments, actively participating in front office activities, handling scheduling tasks, and reporting test results as directed. Contributing to administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling, medical record maintenance, and insurance claim processing. Providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment for all patients.

Required

  • High School diplomas or GED required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program required or validation of equivalent military training (i.e. Hospital Corpsman)
  • 6 months of Customer Experience required
  • Active Washington State Medical Assistant – Certified licensure required. May hold Interim MA-C with a probationary period to obtain permanent
  • MA-C licensure within 6 months of hire or before the expiration of the Interim certification.
  • BLS-RQI required

Preferred

  • Knowledge of insurance concepts preferred.
  • One year Medical Assistant – Certified experience preferred.
