As a cross trained Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the medical office. You will be cross-trained to assist both in clinical tasks and at the front desk, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow. Your responsibilities will include providing clinical and administrative support, assisting with patient care management, and facilitating effective communication between patients and providers. The goal is to deliver high-quality service, complete all tasks accurately, and maintain timely, organized operations. This role will primarily work at our Kirkland location.


Responsibilities

  • Interview patients and document basic medical history
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Update and file medical records and insurance reports
  • Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
  • Check with patients and type up patient charts
  • Assist during medical examinations
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
  • Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
