Job description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant in our Kensington office to become a part of our team! We are a podiatry medical practice. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical office running smoothly. Experience in the medical field is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support Podiatrists and medical team.
  • Clean procedure rooms and office
  • Call patients to remind them of their appointments
  • Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
  • Escort patients to exam rooms
  • Schedule appointments for patients
  • Work at the different medical locations when needed
  • Working on Saturdays is a must.

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the medical field working as a medical assistant
  • Familiarity with medical procedures
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Communication skills
  • Must have a car to go to different locations
  • Experience with medical software is preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
